Accessibility

Culture should be easier to enter and experience.

HiphFi is committed to an accessible, mobile-first public experience with clear navigation, readable contrast, keyboard support, and reduced-motion options.

Last updated: July 24, 2026

Our commitment

HiphFi aims to align new and updated public experiences with WCAG 2.2 Level AA-oriented practices, while recognizing that accessibility is an ongoing process requiring testing, feedback, and improvement.

Current design practices

  • Mobile-first layouts and responsive text
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation and controls
  • Visible focus states
  • High-contrast text on dark and light surfaces
  • Form labels and understandable error messages
  • Reduced-motion behavior for parallax, reveals, and tilt
  • Semantic headings, landmarks, links, and buttons
  • Alternative text or nonvisual descriptions for meaningful imagery

Known limitations

Third-party content, embedded media, event tools, social platforms, and older parent-theme components may not fully meet HiphFi's target. These areas will be reviewed and improved as the build progresses.
